Blair (1854-1912), who served as attorney general and justice of the Supreme Court of Michigan, and granddaughter of Austin Blair (1818-1894), the governor of Michigan during the Civil War. Charles A. Blair, son of Governor Austin Blair, was born in 1854, and spent most of his life as a resident of Jackson, Mich. He was admitted to the bar in 1876, and practice law in Jackson until elected attorney general in 1903.
